A little buzz

I know one of my resolutions was to be on time all year for my VQBs. I fell off the wagon. One of my first orders of vacation business was to catch up on all my late bee blocks.

Everything I was behind on are from the book 99 Modern Blocks. In one of the bees, I have fabric sent to me and the other, I pull from my stash.

Sometimes, I think a bee block almost takes longer per block than if I were making a whole quilt of them. Do you find that, too? It took me two days to catch up, but I'm very happy with the results!

These are all off to the queen bees. My apologies for the lateness of their arrival, friends!

"But that was only a couple of days. What did you do with the rest of your vacation?" you may ask. Well, I haven't taken pics, yet, and what good is a quilty post without pics? I'll do my best to get them taken in the next few days. In the mean time, I'm exhausted and trying to get my body back on a normal work schedule. Shouldn't I be rested and ready to go after two weeks of vacation?
